Good Afternoon Everyone

I hope you had an enjoyable weekend, although Sundays weather was terrible!

This week has been half term, so children have had break from school. This can at times impact on our demand, especially over the summer/nicer weather.

Anyway, in terms of recent matters for the area I have summarized key matters below:

- A Closure Order was granted by the Courts for an Property on IVY ROAD, due to recent issues of Anti-Social Behavior and drug related offending. This Order stops anyone accessing the address for 3 months (even the tenant/s) and if anyone enters they maybe arrested.

- A group of individuals were arrested within the Bede Island area after attempting to run away from officers and then being found in possession of drugs.

- A male was arrested in the Braunstone Gate area for Theft from a Vehicle, whereby the bank cards were then used. This male has been remanded into custody. This is another reminder to people, please do not lave your wallets/bags inside the vehicle, as someone will often use your cards in fraud.

- A prolific shoplifter was arrested for Theft from a shop, after they were sighted walking along Narborough Road.

- Pc's Matt and Steve from the team have taken part in a new Leicestershire Police Video regarding how/why we patrol areas. This will be on Facebook in the near future.

- A Cannabis grow was located on Cambridge St, with a large quantity of plants being seized and the electricity had also been bypassed.
