Appeal for witnesses following attempted robbery – High Wycombe


Hello Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery in High Wycombe.

At approximately 4.15pm on Monday (24/2) on Bowerdean Road close to the junction of Totteridge Road, the victim, a 13-year-old boy, was approached by two teenage boys who punched and kicked him and attempted to steal his mobile phone. 

The victim suffered no injuries from the incident. 

One offender is described as being of slim build with black curly hair, and around 5ft 6ins tall, he was wearing a grey hoodie at the time of the incident. The other offender is described as being of large build, around 5ft 7ins and wearing a white hoodie at the time of the incident. 

Investigating officer Detective Constable Manraj Brar said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed this incident, as well as anybody with doorbell or dash-cam footage, to please get in touch.

"Anyone with information can make a report online or call 101, quoting reference 43250092754.

“If you do not wish to speak to police, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
