Just a quick update to let you know about our recent efforts.

Yesterday, we received complaints of a nuisance rider on an illegal RED and BLACK pitbike, riding up and down Meanygate in Bamber Bridge and the surrounding area.

We managed to stop the vehicle and apprehend the rider, who was driving without insurance. The vehicle has been removed off the streets and the rider will not be getting it back. The rider has been reported for failure to stop, no insurance, no license as well as no MOT.

Other riders had been sighted during the same day and efforts are ongoing to stop them as well.

South Ribble Neighbourhood Policing Team take Nuisance Riders very seriously and will continue to stop these vehicles and remove them off the streets.
