This afternoon your Neighbourhood policing team have conducted a speed operation with pupils from Salesbury School on Ribchester road.

Pupils along with residents have raised concerns to us about the speed of traffic on Ribchester road and the pupils jumped at the chance to stand with us and educate speeding drivers.  

The pupils spoke to 6 drivers who were doing over the speed limit, the drivers got asked questions about their speed and why they were speeding through the village. 

This was well received by all drivers and residents.
