Good evening residents of Penkridge, hope your well.

We have received a couple of reports regarding a suspicious male who has been seen in different areas of Penkridge, trying car door handles and gaining access to vehicles that are left “unlocked” and taking items from within. 

The male has been seen over the weekend (01/03/25-02/03/25)  between the hours of 22:30- 07:00hrs and is described as being a black male, approx. 5ft6, wearing all black and wearing a rucksack. 

I am very keen to identify this male with the intention of taking positive action. 

However, I need your help, so please can I kindly ask that if you have any CCTV, can it be checked on the above dates/times and if it captures the male in question, to send it across to me on email ASAP- via  phillip.millichap@staffordshire.police.uk

Please ensure your vehicle is locked at all times when left unattended, double checking it has locked properly. 

Never leave valuables on display, as this could encourage unwanted person(s) to try and gain access to your vehicle.
