On the evening of 04/03/2025 Mansfield South Neighbourhood Team were made aware of a report of a shop theft from a store in Mansfield Town Centre. The suspect had left the store with the items and drove away in a vehicle. 

 The vehicle was stopped as it was leaving Mansfield, and in the boot of the vehicle hundreds of pounds of clothing, shoes, cleaning supplies and health and beauty products, all believed to be stolen, were located in the boot.

A male has been arrested for the shop thefts, and also been further arrested for the possession of a Class B drug.

The driver of the vehicle was also found to have no insurance to drive the vehicle and wasn't wearing a seatbelt whilst driving so is receiving a ticket.
