GOOD NEWS 

Good afternoon,

You may remember I sent a message out about a series of sheds being broken into overnight on Monday 3rd March 2025 in the DUNNOCK LANE and FINCH LANE areas of COTTAM. 

Yesterday following enquiries by the Neighbourhood Policing Team officers from the Response Teams at Preston have arrested a male youth 14 years old, on suspicion of committing these offences. He is currently on police bail pending further enquiries into this investigation. 

We as the neighbourhood policing team will continue to carry out increased patrols in the area to provide reassurance and to help prevent any further offences. 

We continue to urge residents to be vigilant and extra careful with home security. Please make all efforts to secure your properties as best as possible.
