Here’s a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the couple of weeks in the Blakenall/Leamore/Birchills and Beechdale area. Community meeting took place on the 07/03/25 at Goldsmith’s Primary School – various topics were discussed which included ASB, Off Road bikes and Dogs not being kept on leads. Blakenall | Your area | West Midlands Police | West Midlands Police, this is along with WM NOW messages.PCSO Waddington attended Walsall Housing Group’s monthly walk about their estates in Blakenall on the 04/03/25. Whilst out a wanted male was spotted; this male was promptly taken into custody by PC’s who attended the location after being alerted by PCSO Waddington. Patrols are continuing in the Comwall Close area of Leamore in response to reports of drug taking in the communal areas of the blocks of flats. The team have worked with the managing housing association Watmos to have key fobs made, which will allow the team to conduct patrols throughout the communal areas of the blocks of flats.The team have been attending the location of Valley Road in Blakenall due to an ongoing problem with Flytipping, recently a letter drop was conducted to residents living in the area of the Fly tip. We are encouraging any information which may assist with this matter to be shared with us, please help us to help you. We are currently supporting a multi-agency approach to this issue- partner agencies we have been working with include West Midlands Fire Service, housing associations such as Walsall Housing Group and Walsall Council. We are again appealing for information in relation to the issue of off-road bikes- if anyone knows of any information that will assist us in identifying these riders please do contact us on 101, live chat or via the single online home system on the WMP website Report antisocial behaviour | West Midlands Police.
