Good afternoon,  

We were called to an incident at BOLD VENTURE PARK, DARWEN, BB3 2SF around 20:30 on SAT 8 MAR. 

Many youths were seen in the area causing damage to the newly refurbished playground and surrounding areas. 

The youths were vandalising the park and were causing alarm and distress to nearby residents by throwing stones and engaging in anti-social behaviour. 

We will be conducting enquiries to find those responsible and take further action. 

We will also be increasing the patrols in the area and working with multi-agencies to eliminate this behaviour.
