We have had reports that off road/ motor cross style motorbikes are being driven in the woods, by the river and around the Wittenham Clumps.

The Clumps are owned by the Earth Trust and with the number of people including children and dogs that enjoy this area for peaceful walks,  vehicles of this nature are not permitted and can be dangerous. You must always obtain the land owners permission if you are looking for an area to ride your bikes and there are dedicated motorcross tracks that you can attend.  

If caught you will be issued with a section 59 which gives police powers to seize your vehicle. 

If you see this taking place whilst on a walk, enjoying the countryside please contact us ASAP.
