Residents may have noticed an increased police presence in the Manstone Avenue yesterday (Sunday 9 March).

Police were notified to reports of a sexual assault in the area. 

Enquiries have now been carried out and the incident has not been proceeded with.

We would like to reassure the community that this was an isolated matter and there was no wider threat to the public.
