PCSO Susan McCallum was pleased to have the opportunity to take our Mini Police Cadets to SafetyWorks! last week

SafetyWorks! is a multi-agency interactive safety centre in Newcastle, aiming to provide enjoyable learning experiences to youngsters, helping them to learn how to act and be safe in a variety of realistic situations, illustrating every day hazards and how to prevent them.

Here, the cadets had inputs and played out scenarios of a wide range of situations, learning how to deal with Peer Pressure, Water Safety, Internet Safety, Fire Safety and Keeping Safe around Dogs.
