Yesterday 10th March 2025, Police attended a Council Property in the Platt Bridge area with an Officer from Wigan Council.

The purpose of this visit was to issue the occupant with a Notice of Seeking Possession. This is as a direct result of Positive Drugs Warrants at the address along with ASB. Despite previous warnings, there continued to be issues around Drugs and Anti-Social Behaviour at the address.

Wigan Council take any issues at any of their properties very seriously and will not tolerate any continuation of Incidents, especially after Warnings have been given. Greater Manchester Police work very closely with Wigan Council and will continue to support Wigan Council in any actions that are undertaken.
