Dear South Ward Resident,
Humberside Police are investigating a report of a Criminal Damage on Sutcliffe Avenue near to the shops. The incident occurred around 00:35 this morning the 10 March. The offender(s) - who a witness described as approximately 14 years old where dressed all in black and riding cycles. They approached the targeted property and launched several large rocks through the front bay windows - upstairs and down - causing them to smash. Luckily no one was injured at the time.
If you have been a victim of this type of crime recently please get in touch via the 101 non-emergency number to report it. There may be a Tiktok trend starting where these types of crimes are being filmed and posted online for 'likes'.
Also, if you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about these offences, again, please contact the police quoting occurrence ref: 25*32334
