We are currently dealing with a road traffic collision in your area linked to this as well is calls about youths riding down from the A38 bridge down to the pathway of Valley Gardens.  

It has been brought to our attention that a group of youths have been taking their bikes up to the edge of the A38 bridge and riding down onto the pathway/road of Valley Gardens. These youths have been repeatedly warned by PCOS's and PC's about the dangers of doing this both to themselves and others. Recently one male was unfortunately struck by a vehicle while doing this, he was taken to GRH and was released with no life changing injuries. 

Due to the ongoing reports Highways have been notified and a meeting will be taking place this week to discuss the potential for a fence or guardrail being erected to ensure the safety of all within the community.
