School Parking Patrol - Hadfield Rd, Hadfield on Tuesday 11th March.

Glossop SNT - Community Engagement

PCSO Buller attended the school crossing at Hadfield Rd, Hadfield, this morning between 8.30 am and 9.00 am. Tuesday11th March.

He was there to support the School Crossing Patrol, to engage with students and parents going to and from both schools and to observe the crossing/zig-zag area outside both Hadfield Infant School and St Andrews Junior School. This was in regard to reports of poor or inconsiderate parking, particularly at school drop off and pick up times.

Safe parking is crucial for the safety of our children, and we will continue to patrol around local primary schools to ensure their well-being. Thank you to Mrs Cornwall, Head Teacher of St Andrews, for her support today and of course to the School Crossing Patrol for ensuring the safety of children crossing this busy road. There were no issues there on this lovely sunny morning.
