Appeal for witnesses following incident of criminal damage – Shrivenham


Hello Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage that occurred at around 10.50am on Monday 3 March on High Street, Shrivenham. 

The victim, a 38-year-old man, was driving along the High Street in a Blue Vauxhall Astra when the offender attempted to get his attention, whilst the victim was reversing his vehicle the offender stabbed one of the tyres with what was believed to be a knife. 

A 36-year-old man from Shrivenham has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon. He has since been released on bail.

Investigating officer, PC Crystal Willoughby, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone with information about what happened, to please come forward.

“We are also asking anyone who may have dash-cam, or CCTV footage that could assist our enquiries to please come forward.
