A male has been arrested and charged with Vehicle Interference x3.
A homeowner was woken by his dog barking at 5am and checked his CCTV cameras thinking it may be a cat or a dog. However he spotted a male walking alongside his house and try the door handles of his car. Checks made by neighbours, who also handily had CCTV cameras, shown the same male try the door handles on another 2 cars parked on Langley Rd, Sale. Police and forensics attended and seized the footage which got a good image of the suspects face.
The next morning our partners at Trafford Council CCTV have been monitoring around the Trafford Borough at this time should he try to strike again. With the streets being quieter at this time, the staff have fantastically, sighted the male walking along Chester Rd, Stretford wearing he same clothing. He has entered an address which by luck was covered by CCTV to which police have immediately attended and arrested the male. Great partnership work and shows having CCTV really helps us. | ||||
