Yesterday at approximately 7:20pm, a wanted female was spotted around Ashton Town Centre.

Officers from Waterloo, Hurst and Ashton Town Centre beats conducted an area search and located the offender walking down Old Street, where she promptly made off.

Minutes later she was located hiding under a parked van behind The Star Inn on Williamson Street.

The female was later charged for the 2 offences that she was wanted for and bailed to attend court at a later date.
