Hello Residents of Plungington,

You may have noticed an increased police presence in Plungington earlier this morning. Today your Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted a multi-agency day of action with Immigration, Trading Standards, Lancashire Fire and Rescue, Housing Standards and Environmental Health along Plungington Road.

We have visited over 8 premises and tested compliance with the above agencies. Multi-Agency Days like this help us to understand the issues our communities are facing, and take action against those who are conducting illegal activity in our area.

In relation to the above we have gained invaluable intelligence about individuals and premises to go forward with. Operations like these are only possible due to information we receive from the public.
