Op Machinize warrant conducted

Dear Resident,

You may have noticed some police activity at the Hurst cross service station (Texaco) on Lees road today (12/03/2025).

Neighbour policing officers in conjunction with TMBC trading standards officers conducted an Op Machinize warrant, which is centred around targeting business premises' conducting illegal activities and selling illegal items.

A substantial amount of nitrous oxide (which is now a classified as a class C drug) was found on the premises. This was seized by Police and an investigation is ongoing.

Arrests were made, but as there is an active investigation on-going we cannot say much else.

If there are any updates regarding this investigation then we will update you as soon as we can.

Warrants like this can't happen with out intelligence from the public. As Sir Robert Peel once said… “The police are the people and the people are the police”.
