There have been several reports of persons trying Vehicle door handles in the early hours of the morning in the Bickershaw area including the Nixon Philips Drive estate.

A report was made on 12/03/2025, when two males were seen to be on the estate at around 04:30am and were seen to be approaching vehicles and trying the doors.

Please could anyone who has Cctv/Ring Doorbells please review them for the stated time and reply to the request if you have any footage, in particular, footage that shows facial images. If anyone has Motion sensor DashCams in their vehicles, please could you check to see if they have captured anything as this type of footage could be invaluable due to the level of the cameras and the possibility of Facial Images being captured.

For your reassurance, Unmarked Police Patrols have been attending the area and will continue to do so.
