Fake Scottish £20 & £50 Notes Circulating In Ashbourne

Caution to stores, Bars, and Companies.

Keep an eye our for counterfeit £50 Scottish currency that may be in circulation. Over the past recent months we have also had counterfeit £20 Scottish notes, and tonight, a number of businesses have been caught out by fake £50 notes.

Please carefully check all banknotes and refer to the images provided. If you are targeted help protect others by spreading the word to nearby shops and posting on social media.

If you come across any counterfeit notes, report it to the police.

Stay vigilant!
