There was a report made to Neighbourhood Police support officers, whilst on foot patrol about a vehicle that has been parked on a road near you.

We understand vehicles that sit rusting, cause distress to the neighbourhood residents & create a false impression of the area. We call this signal crime !

Property that looks abandoned, derelict or neglected can attract further crime like trespassing, squatting, theft and criminal damage which in turn attracts further crimes.

After some basic engagement and cooperation from the owner, there has been a positive decision made to remove this vehicle that has caused annoyance and distress to local residents.

You will be delighted to know that there is a plan been agreed to dispose of this vehicle as early as next week.
