South Wales Police are working to tackle your parking concerns in Sketty & Uplands.

There were a few reports to the police in relation to vehicles patlrked on drop kerbs, to full obstructions in a side access road. Working with our partners, officers have spoken to the Highways Dept, who in turn have notifed council enforcement officers. 

Any issues regarding parking #OpSnap is a good reporting site. 

Inconsiderate or illegal parking can put pedestrians and other road users in danger. It can also create an obstruction for emergency vehicles.

While some enforcement activity is carried out jointly with partners (relevant local authority employ parking enforcement officers rather than the police), often problems can be alleviated through awareness and education, or other practical measures.

Cafwyd ychydig o adroddiadau i'r heddlu mewn perthynas â cherbydau wedi'u patlrcio ar gyrbau isel, i rwystrau llawn mewn ffordd fynediad ochr. Gan weithio gyda'n partneriaid, mae swyddogion wedi siarad â'r Adran Priffyrdd, sydd yn eu tro wedi hysbysu swyddogion gorfodi'r cyngor.
