During the early hours of this morning our Road Crime Team were out across Tamworth keeping our roads safe.

At around 01:20 they stopped a black Citroen C3 on Manor Road. Checks revealed the vehicle was being driven without insurance.

Further checks on the driver revealed they did not have a valid licence and had committed immigration offences.

The 22 year old male was subsequently arrested and the vehicle seized.
