Police are warning businesses and shoppers to be vigilant and check any money they receive after counterfeit notes were used in shops and high street stalls in the Long Eaton area.
It is an offence to reproduce bank notes and if you have information about persons making, supplying, passing or possessing counterfeit currency (banknotes or coins) please contact the police on 101 or report the matter anonymously to CrimeStoppers.
