PCSO 6592 Danny and PCSO 6204 Kirsty had a busy shift visiting the Beavers & Scouts Groups in Countesthorpe and Enderby to do a talk around Stranger Danger and Road Safety. After the talk they did a show and tell around a police vehicle which the children loved. They educated the children around what to recognize when noticing suspicious behavior and also the basics of road safety both at the road side and whilst riding as a passenger. "We just wanted to thank Counthesthorpe and Enderby Beavers & Scouts for having us. We hope to be back soon. We loved seeing smiles all round and happy memories being made while leaving a positive impact on how important it is to be aware of stranger danger and road safety." - PCSO 6592 Danny PC Morris has been preparing a lengthy document for an injunction application due to ongoing anti-social behaviour that is being experienced by residents locally. Antisocial behaviour takes many forms, from aggressive, noisy or abusive behaviour to disturbances involving drugs or animals. We work with partners such as councils, housing & wellbeing services to tackle & prevent ASB.
PCSO 6666 Sarah and PCSO 6028 Ryan have been regularly patrolling Fosse Park this month, catching up with local businesses and liaising with security making sure there have been no issues of anti-social behaviour. We have been focusing on deterring the misuse of bikes in the area and shop theft. PCSO 6140 Wane was on enquiries at Fosse Park when a report of two detained shoplifters comes in at Primark. Two teenage females had been stopped by their security staff after they have left store with £50 worth of items on their person. PCSO Wane attended the store and the females were being observed by staff and fully admitted to staff the theft. Police checks were carried out on the females and neither had any recent disposals for theft. As the offence was complete both females were eligible for a Community Resolution. The goods were returned, the parents were spoken to and the girls are now banned from the store. Two males were arrested after a number of car key breaks were reported around Enderby and Narborough. ‘Car key breaks’ are where persons have entered your property and stolen your car keys and vehicle. The males were interviewed but due to insufficient evidence the males were released, pending further information/evidence coming to light the case has been filed. |
