#YouSaidWeDid - What matters to you

Your priorities are chosen quarterly and are based upon

information gathered through NHL (Neighbourhood Link), social media, local engagement, and emerging crime trends. You have stated that the following key themes are important to you. #YouSaidWeDid

Priority 1 - ASB, We will be patrolling hot spot locations within the area showing a high visible presence to deter offences from occurring. We will be working with partner agencies to tackle ASB where appropriate and will deal with offenders as per our anti-social behaviour incremental approach.

Priority 2 - Burglary, We will be patrolling hot spot locations within the area showing a high visible presence to deter offences from occurring. We will also be investigating incidents, working with forensics and residents to try to identify offenders and will take action against those offenders as appropriate.

Priority 3 - Road Safety, We will be utilizing beat surgeries to educate motorists and issue traffic offence reports and section 59 anti-social behaviour notices to drivers committing offences or using their vehicles in an anti-social manner.

#WeDid - What we are doing

After reports of a male acting suspiciously wearing a balaclava around schools in Glenfield, the dedicated neighbourhood team have taken action and arrested an 18 year old male matching the description. He has since been released on bail with conditions and enquiries are continuing. We would ask anyone with information about this or another incident to contact police.

Whilst Officers were out patrolling, they drove down Baines Lane and spotted some Fly Tipping, this has been reported into the Council who will come and remove it.  Thankfully it was off to the side of the road and did not cause any traffic issues.

We have been very busy this month dealing with and investigating a number of reports of anti social behaviour in the Kings Drive area of Leicester Forest East area. Enquiries are ongoing but are progressing nicely.

Patrols have been conducted around Kirby Muxloe, Peckleton, Leicester Forest East, Kirkby Mallory and across the Hinckley and Blaby area in general throughout the early hours of the mornings in response to recent reports of break ins to vehicles. We conducted CCTV and H2H in regard to a historic burglary in the Kirby Muxloe area, and spoke to the occupants to reassure them with some aids.
