A necessary response - all safely resolved

We moved in to arrest a man in Tadcaster yesterday, on suspicion of making threats to kill.

Due to the nature of the incident, armed officers were deployed - for everyone's safety.

The suspect was arrested without incident at 2.30pm yesterday afternoon, near Wighill Lane. He was taken into custody. A vehicle was also seized for forensic analysis.
