Neighbourhood Round up

Hello,  Here’s a quick round up from the Kingstanding neighbourhood policing team.

 

 What’s been happening.

 

  • Officers have been conducting proactive foot cycle and transport network patrols throughout Kingstanding to disrupt criminality and ASB.
  •  

  • We have conducted a Community Speed Watch on College Road, We have observed 19 vehicles exceeding the speed limit, they will be receiving a warning letter in due course.
  •  

  • On the College Road Kingstanding neighbourhood officers have Seized a stolen vehicle that was on false number plates also there were stolen number plates in the vehicle that was recovered.
  •  

  • The kingstanding Neighbourhood Sergeant whilst out on proactive patrols has located a missing vulnerable adult who was found safe and well and placed in to the care of family members.
  •  

  • Officers have recovered a stolen scooter on Witton Lodge Road.
  •  

     

     

     

     

     

     

     “Cuppa with a Copper”

    Will be held on Saturday 5th April 10:30am at the ECO hub Witton Lakes so please pop in and have a chat with your local officers and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

     

     

    “Community speed watch”

    We have conducted a speed watch on the college road would like to create more groups so we are still inviting Members of the public to join our community speed watch, if you are interested in keeping your roads safe and and to reduce Road Harm and speed related road traffic collisions then please contact us for more information.

     

    “STREETWATCH”

    We are looking for volunteers to form street watch groups in KINGSTANDING,

    If you are interested in forming or becoming a member of street watch then please contact us for more details. 

     

    “MOBILE POLICE STATION”

    We will be out in the mobile police station on Friday the 11th April at The Aldi Carpark College Road, and Saturday 12th April at the Witton Lakes Carpark on Faulkners Farm Road, We will be offering crime prevention advice, we will also be giving out panic alarms window alarms and vehicle protection.
