Local News

Good morning from shift 1 of your SNT.

Yesterday was a busy one for the team.

PCSOs Sneap and Potter worked alongside partner agencies from the Streetpride, St Peters Quarter Rangers and the BID Team to continue the work in the City Centre, as part of the Great British Spring Clean. Today the team tackled the issue of people urinating along Thorntree Lane by painting the walls with special paint. The paint deflects the urine back on to the offender - resulting in them being covered in it, as opposed to the walls and floors!

The PCSOs also worked with Derbion security to deal with a male acting suspiciously, as well as checking in with a vulnerable gentleman. They also carried out regular patrols around the City Centre, concentrating on the River Gardens, Bus Station and Bass' Rec areas.

Today, PCSOs Sneap and Potter will be joined by PC Doran at a Community Engagement event which will be at Milk & Honey, Sadler Gate, between 10 - 12pm.

We hope to see you there!
