Dear Residents of Stechford & Yardley North 

Please find the following updates for your perusal ……

Officers have been carrying out high visibility patrols at Stechford Retail Park and have set up a Retail Radio Link between all shops and given them radios to pass information with each other ( potential shop lifters / offenders )  Officers will carry a spare radio and link in with each shop when they are on site.

We continue to work with traders with our Business Watch Scheme 

Numerous patrols have been conducted at the Glebe & reassurance patrols have been carried out in the area and Audley School and Mosque in relation to the disorder where 2 x offenders have been arrested  and enquiries are ongoing.

High visibility patrols have been conducted at the Yew Tree due to motorists continuing to park on the Zig Zag markings and tickets will follow ( They will learn when it hits them in their pocket and receive 3 x points on their license )

Vehicles have been seized due to either no Insurance / Tax

Crime Updates ……..

Attempted Burglary on Church Road Stechford on 22/03/25 between 23.30 hrs & 23.59 hrs where an offender has approached victims address and forcefully pushed the handle of the front door with strength trying to force it to break to gain entry, Offender has noticed ring doorbell and made good his escape  - Enquiries ongoing 

Attempted Burglary on Manor Road Stechford on 27/03/25 between 04.30 hrs & 05.05 hrs where unknown offenders have approached victims address and banged on the window trying to gain entry - Enquiries ongoing 

Theft of KeyLess Motor Vehicle on Holbeach Road Stechford on 24/03/25 between 00.25 hrs & 00.28 hrs where offender(s) have approached victims locked and secure Grey Lexus 66 plate vehicle parked on driveway and stolen vehicle
