Charge and Remand - Thorne Town Centre

A male arrested in Thorne town centre this afternoon has this evening been charged and remanded for court tomorrow.

The male was arrested in relation to breaching the conditions of his community protection notice having previously been warned with regards to his behaviour and conduct in and around Thorne town centre including the Thorne retail park.

Thank you to those members of the Thorne Shop Watch who assisted with this investigation.

A community protection notice (CPN) can be issued against a persistent antisocial behaviour perpetrator with the aim of preventing unreasonable behaviour that is having a negative impact on the local community's quality of life.
