Your Weekly Bablake Update

Weekly Update from your local Bablake NPT

Dear Members

Here’s your weekly update from myself and the rest of the team.

What’s Been Happening

. Burglaries

There has one report of a burglary this week. This happened on Morton Close. Offender(s) have broken into a shed and stolen a motorbike.

. Vehicle Crime

Three reports of vehicle crime .

A van was broken into on Coundon Green and tools stolen.

A vehicle had the number plates stolen on Christchurch Road. If this happens to you, please report it as offenders use the number plates on stolen vehicles to commit crime.

The third one happened on Rectory Lane. This time the offender(s) smashed a window to gain entry and stole a rucksack that had been left on the seat. Please don’t leave items on display, it’s temptation for the offenders.

. In other News

As usual the team have been busy.

While officers were conducting enquiries at an address regarding a separate offence, a cannabis factory was found in the loft!!! Male arrested and plants disposed of. Another one gone.

Three persons have been stopped and found in possession of drugs. Two had cannabis on them but the third had heroin. All persons being dealt with appropriately.

DATE FOR YOUR DIARIES

We are holding PACT ( Partners and Communities Together) meeting at The Jaguar Sports and Social Club on Tuesday 13th May from 7pm.

If you would like to discuss any issues with us, please come along.

A big thank you to the club for allowing us to use their room.

Your local officers are continuing patrols in areas that we know have issues. If you have any concerns about where you live, let us know.

You can mark all property with a UV marker making it easier for lost or stolen property to be returned should the worst happen. It is also a good idea to keep a record of where you marked the property and note down any serial numbers. You can register valuables at www.immobilise.com

Stay safe everyone.

If you have any information about crime in your area you can let us know 100% anonymously by contacting CRIMESTOPPERS 0800 555 111

Get involved.
Streetwatch is a community patrol initiative that helps you make a difference where you live. Street watch gives you and your community an opportunity to keep your area safe, including just walking round your neighbourhood, which can really help. Local police keep in regular contact with street watch members to share information and work in partnership with you.
If you are interested in taking part in a Streetwatch within the Babalake area you can contact the Holbrook, Radford, Sherbourne & Bablake team on holbrookandradford@westmidlands.police.uk
