Dear Residents and Local Businesses,
Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we've been busy dealing with:
OUR PRIORITES Anti-social Behaviour in Wood End – Our officers are patrolling the area and working with officers on the schools team to identify offenders and carry out home visits. Vehicle Crime in the Walsgrave area – We are doing regular patrols and giving out crime prevention advice. Thefts From Shops - officers on the team have arrested several people in recent weeks for these thefts, and put them through the courts.
COMMUNITY EVENTS This week our PCSOs held Pop Up events, where we gave out crime prevention advice and freebies at Showcase Cinema, Tesco (Crosspoint Business Park) and University Hospital of Coventry & Warwickshire.
We have arranged a PACT meeting for the Henley Area On Wednesday 14th May 19:00 – 20:00 hours At Moat House Leisure Centre, Winston Avenue, Coventry CV2 1EA. We hope to see you there if you can make it.
ARRESTS Our officers have arrested a male after he failed to attend a DRUG INTERVENTION PROGRAM appointment after previously being found to have drugs in his system. He was also charged with multiple shop thefts.
OTHER INFORMATION if you have information about people committing crime that you want to tell us about, you can contact us on the non-emergency telephone number 101 or by visiting us online at Home | West Midlands Police (west-midlands.police.uk) where you will find access to the LIVE CHAT facility. Alternatively you can contact the CRIMESTOPPERS charity anonymously by calling 0800 555 111. This is a free phone number.
