Crime increase

Hi All

There has been a rise in suspicious activities, including car thefts and burglaries, in the Sevenoaks area.

If you observe anything unusual, please report it, even if the incident occurred the previous night. Your report can contribute to a clearer understanding of the ongoing incidents, and you may possess crucial information.

It is unusual for unfamiliar individuals to appear and peer through your windows.
It is not typical for someone to inspect your vehicle.
It is abnormal for individuals to test door handles, particularly during late-night hours or in the early morning.

Additionally, there has been an uptake in keyless vehicle thefts. If it takes you an extra 30 seconds in the morning to secure your car with a steering lock, it will require the same amount of time for a thief. The delay caused by securing your vehicle is significantly less than the inconvenience of having it stolen.

Many thanks

Peter
