Good afternoon

Some of you will have noticed this afternoon that we carried out a Seed Operation on Deer Park Road in Burnley. 

This is at the request of local residents who have claimed that the speed of traffic is too high.

We checked over a number vehicles with 31 vehicles being over the speed limit of the 20mph

The highest speed being 39 MPH.

We carried out this operation between 3pm and 4pm  when the local high school was finishing within the area. 

These drivers will be dealt with in due course.

Please be aware of the limits on the roads.
