Week of action

Good evening Resident

This week (March 31st to April 4th) GMP officers in Tameside will taking part in a week of action targeted around domestic abuse.
You can follow what GMP Tameside are doing this week by following our Facebook Page - Tameside Police - GMP | Facebook.

Newton and Godley team will be at the Grafton Centre 1-2 tomorrow (2nd April) to speak with anyone who has concerns.

We all have a role to play in tackling domestic abuse.

Communities can help by reporting concerns and checking in with a friend or relative to see if they are ok.

We are always here to help, but if you’d rather speak to somebody else, there are lots of other organisations who can support: https://www.gmp.police.uk/advice/advice-and-information/daa/domestic-abuse/support-organisations/

Perhaps you’re worried about the partner of a close friend or relative.

Under Clare’s Law, you can apply for information about a current or ex-partner.

Visit our website for further information or to make an application:
https://www.gmp.police.uk/rqo/request/ri/request-information/cl/triage/v2/request-information-under-clares-law/

We understand how tough it can be to come forward and report domestic abuse, but we would encourage anyone who is currently suffering in silence to reach out.

To start a report, visit www.gmp.police.uk and click on the blue ‘Live Chat’ icon.
