Update from the Hall Green neighbourhood policing team

Dear Resident,

Here’s a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hall Green neighbourhood policing team.

What’s been happening

  • Community Priority. Following our poll on twitter where the community asked that speeding was one of our focuses for the month of March, officers have conducted a total of 14 speed operations in Hall Green. These have included both local speed watches and joint operations with our Road Harm Prevention team.
  • Parking Focus. Following our latest poll on twitter, parking will be our community focus for the month of April. We will continue to update you throughout the month.
  • Operation Snap. Officers have provided an input on Operation Snap to parents from Hall Green Infant and Junior School following concerns raised regarding dangerous parking on nearby roads. Operation Snap is a police initiative to make our roads as safe as possible and allows members of the public to submit dash cam, CCTV or mobile phone footage of road traffic offences. If you wish to find out more, please visit Operation Snap | West Midlands Police

    Future events

We are holding our April drop-in with officers on Monday 7th April between 10:30am – 12pm at Highfield Hall. Please join us to raise any local issues or concerns. For those unable to attend, please email the team at Hallgreen@westmidlands.police.uk if there is anything you wish to raise and an officer will get back to you.

    Finally, A big thanks to

BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir temple, Pitmaston Road for our invite to their 15th annual International Women's Day celebrations. It was a fantastic event which was enjoyed by both PCSO Devey and Hadley.

Please continue to look out for further updates from the team on our X (formerly twitter) page @hallgreenWMP
