2nd Day of Action re Parking Outside Schools - Zig-Zag Lines at Hadfield Infants - Wednesday 2nd April

Glossop SNT - School/Community Engagement

PCSO Buller from Glossop YET (Youth Engagement Team ) was at Merseybank Rd,Hadfield outside the entrance / exit of Hadfield Infant School as part 2 of our ‘action days’ regarding  reports of poor and Inconsiderate parking.- prticularly at picking up and drop off times.

The team were there with students, staff and representatives from ‘Move More Glossop’ and GAST (Glossopdale Action for Sustainable Travel) this morning and again this afternoon. Wednesday 2nd April.

The messages/posters were to ‘ slow down’ - 'don't park on the zig zags' and ‘turn your engine off’ .

As you can see pictured below - the children outside the school with their posters on display and showing some fantastic enthusiasm - that's hopefully making drivers and parents think about how they act near the school.

Once again - 'Well done all today’
