Hi folks,

Just to inform you I was on Hooton Rd just outside the village earlier this evening with our speedgun.

Between 17:30 -18:15 pm it recorded 3 vehicles between 35-37mph resulting in points and a fine unless the driver is eligible for a Speed Awareness Course which they have to pay for.

A number of drivers reached 34mph but had reduced their speed by the time they had reached me.

Thankfully the vast majority of drivers kept within the speed limit of 30mph - thanks again for helping to keep this busy road safe for all users and pedestrians.
