Upcoming Road Closures for April


7th 800-1800 Main Road Stanton in Peak at Park Farm and 700 metres east from junction with B5056 To facilitate Sewer Survey Works.  Alternative route B5056 The Miers, Main Street, Uppertown Lane, Barton Hill, Birchover Road, Main Road and vice versa

 

8th The Lodge Tideswell  for a distance of 170 meters west from junction with Litton Dale To facilitate BT Pole Testing.  Alternative route : Litton Dale, Buxton Road and vice versa

 

14th to 16th Bakewell over Haddon between Foxwood and junction with Monyash Road. To facilitate Electrical Supply works.  Alternative route Bakewell Road, Bole Hill, B5055 , Monyash Road and vice versa

 

15th to 16th between 930 and 1530 each day Main Road Stanton in Peak between junction with Middle Street amd :aburnum Cottage to facilitate Carriageway Patching.  Alternative route Main Road, B5056, The Miers, Main Street, Barton Hill, Birchover Road and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road

 

28TH and 29TH 1900 until 2300 Yeld Road, Bakewell between junction with B5055 and junction with Moorhall to facilitate Carriageway patching.  . Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.

 

28th  and 29th  2000 until 0600 Bath Street, Bakewell Bath Street Bakewell between junction with A6 and junction with Anchor Square. REASON: To facilitate CCTV manhole cover works. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Buxton Road, North Church Street, Rutland Square, Anchor Square Bakewell and vice versa. The road closure and one way suspension will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

 

21st to 22nd Main Road, Little Hucklow Main Road, Little Hucklow between Home Cottage and Springfield to facilitate STW Pipe Repair.  Alternative route Washhouse Bottom, Coplow Dale, B6049 , Main Road and vice versa.  Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised

The County Council intends to make/has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
