Officers from the Sutton Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates. Rumbles Cafe, Sutton Lawn on Tuesday 15th April between 10am and 12pm. Burglary Dwelling At some time before 3.35pm on Thursday 27 March in Lammas Close, Sutton in Ashfield, a property was ransacked with clothes scattered all over and no signs of a forced entry. Two laptop computers and a cup full of money was stolen. At some time between Monday 31 March and 6.30pm on Tuesday 1 April in Willow Crescent, Sutton in Ashfield, a window was damaged and a rubber seal pulled off in forcing a window to gain entry to a house. Two sets of keys were stolen. Burglary Other At 6.15pm on Saturday 29 March in Fox Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of two teenage males, dressed in black hoodies, on the roof of the dentists next to the old Wilko store. They appeared to be trying to break in via a skylight or window. Between 5.00pm on Monday 31 March and 7.45am on Tuesday 1 April at the Sewage Works, Dawgates Lane, Sutton in Ashfield, fencing was damaged to gain access to the site. Tool sheds and lock-ups were broken into and the lock on a container was damaged. Two Stihl saws and diesel fuel were stolen. Between Friday 21 March and Tuesday 1 April in Davies Avenue, Sutton in Ashfield, a shed was broken into. We do not know at this time if anything was stolen. Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Nothing to report Criminal Damage Between Friday 28 and Monday 31 March in Cowpasture Lane, Sutton in Ashfield, two bottles of dye were thrown on a property while the owner was away. Red dye stained the patio, decking and the garage wall. ASB Around 7.19pm on Friday 28 March in The Oval, Sutton in Ashfield, an unknown tall male knocked on the door of an elderly persons home and when the door was opened two other males appeared from down the side of the house frightening the lady who closed the door. Three males were stopped by police officers nearby who confirmed they were just messing about and were warned about their behaviour. At 3.05pm on Monday 31 March in Penn Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of two girls on black e-scooters riding at speed on the path near the Northern Bridge nearly knocking a man off the path as they passed. Both girls were white, aged around 12 years old, and wearing Sutton Academy school uniforms. One was tall, Skinny with dirty blonde hair. The second was medium build with ginger hair. At 3.09pm on Wednesday 2 April in Broadlands Close, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of tents and a male and female rough sleepers in the wooded area nearby, making it unsafe for children to play outside
