ASB Lockton Skate Park

Please advice -

Lockton Skate Park is currently under construction - we have had reports of several juveniles entering the site whilst barriers are up - using the park when there is wet cement - Causing damage to diggers on site - smashing glass on the park.

The park is being built to offer more opportunity for youths to find activities to do - keeping those who want to respect it and use it properly more options. Unfortunately there is a minority who believe it acceptable to cause damage and/or use this before it's being finished - Causing further costs to AVBC.

Please advise any children you may know that from now on the following will apply.

ANY ONE IDENTIFIED BY POLICE OR CAMERAS ON THE SKATE PARK WILL BE SUBJECTED TO ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR WARNING LETTERS - IMMEDIATE JUSTICE REFERRALS AND FURTHER ACTION SHOULD CRIMINAL OFFENCES TAKE PLACE OR PREVIOUS WARNINGS HAVE BEEN ISSUED.

This is not to ruin anyone's fun - but to allow works to take place so you can all have fun for the foreseeable future on the park. Please respect the barriers and the sooner that happens - the sooner the skate park can be completed.
