A 24-year-old man has been charged following reports of a stolen vehicle failing to stop for officers on Wednesday 2 April.

Dylan Mandam, of Endike Lane in Hull has been charged with taking a motor vehicle without the owners consent, possession of a bladed article in a public place, driving without due care and attention, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance.

He has been remanded into custody to appear at Hull Magistrates Court at a later date.

It is reported that officers sighted a stolen vehicle in Bilton before a short pursuit ensued leading to the vehicle being stopped on Salthouse Road in Hull.
