St Michael's Team 2

St Michael's Team 2

Our team has had an extremely successful week with numerous arrests of individuals whose current life vocations are drug dealing!!

Plain clothes officers identified a male acting suspiciously on GEORGE ELLIOT ROAD which is a high crime area. The male was searched and found to be in possession of 59 wraps of suspected class A drugs, he was arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply (PWITS) and presented to court.

A further plain clothes operation identified a male acting suspiciously in a car on the Albany Road, a drug deal was spotted taking place and the male was placed under arrest.  2 wraps of suspected class A drugs were found along with £1000 in cash. As a result of this the team conducted a search of the male’s home address (section 18 search). Inside the property 2 large rock of amphetamines were recovered, the male was arrested along with a family member for intent to supply class A and class B drugs.

And…… another successful arrest for possession with intent to supply class A drugs on QUEENS ROAD.  A male on a moped headed towards an alley way. Upon seeing officers drove into a multi storey car park………….. ‘one entrance in and out’……  as he drove to the 3rd floor of the car park with colleagues in pursuit the penny dropped and he submitted and arrested. He was found to be in possession of 59 wraps of suspected class A drugs!

A word to the offending wise, not all police officers wear Hi-Vis outerwear!!

The reality is that drug-related activity has a destructive impact on families and the wider community.

Our team strive daily to tackle this activity, to disrupt county line activity and reduce drug related issues within the city.
