Myself and PCSO FEARON went out  14:40 to 16:00 hours yesterday and conducted Pro Laser speed enforcement on Brigg Road , Messingham.

We checked the speed of 200 vehicles in that time and would like to share the results with you. 

160 drivers 80% were under 30mph. 

23 drivers 11.5% were between 30mph and 33mph. 

16 drivers 8% were travelling between 33mph and 35mph. 

1 driver 0.5% was travelling above 40mph. 

The driver travelling in access of 40mph will be receiving a notice of intended prosecution through the post shortly. 

As you can see from the figures, during our time checking speeds the majority of motorists were keeping below or within the speed limit with a small % travelling in excess.

For those keeping to the speed limit on behalf of the ridge neighbourhood team we would like to thank you for keeping our roads safe.

We will look to conduct further days of action to see if the results are similar at different times/days.
