Dear residents

We are appealing for information after a car door handles have been attempted in King Johns walk, Rothwell

The theft occurred between 2am and 2:15am on the 4th of April when car doors have been attempted whilst parked at  the home address.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number 25000193713 or report to us online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

  • Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road.  Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible
  • Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft
  • Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g  Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
