Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, we want to  let you know some of what officers have been busy dealing with:   

 

Foleshill officers have been very busy again this week. On Wednesday officers took part in OP PROSPERITY this was our officers working with West Midland Police traffic units to combat off road motorbikes. By the end of the day officers had seized 1 off road mini moto,l 2 vehicles one was for insurance purposes and one was outstanding stolen. One Cranstoun warning for use of cannabis in a public place.

 

officers from Foleshill and the priority crime team joined forces and executed a warrant under section 23 of the misuse of drugs act and gained access to a property on Broad Street. The property was being used to cultivate cannabis. In total officers seized and destroyed approx 120 plants. Another good success story and more illegal drugs off the streets.    

 

Shop keepers on the Gallagher retail park have told local officers that Anti-Social Behaviour and shoplifting is their hi priority, with this in mind on Thursday 4th April community officers spent the morning patrolling the retail park and interacting with shoppers and local residents. 

 

On Saturday 12th April community officers are leading the children’s story time in Foleshill library, if you have young children please pop along to Foleshill library between 14.00-15.00 on Saturday.
